Axis Number
The travel range ’Relative’ is displayed if the drive is not set to absolute
while detecting a position using an incremental encoder. The actual
position display can be reset to zero by pressing
, so that a new relative
zero point can be entered. Zeroing occurs for all axes.
The travel range ’Absolute’ is displayed for the drive, while detecting a
position using an incremental encoder after homing or generally when
using an absolute encoder.
