7.3 Velocity
Override
The override function permits an infinitely variable reduction in the
currently programmed velocity in Manual and Automatic Modes
(exception: homing using the HOM command).
Override via Analog Input
The override is controlled via the connection of current to:
AE1 ( X5/11 and X5/12 )
AE2 ( X5/14 and X5/15 )
AE3 ( X7/4 and X7/5 )
AE4 ( X7/7 and X7/8 )
The graph below shows the relationship between the applied voltage and
the override factor.

The velocity ‘ Vo´ is produced by multiplying the programmed traversing
velocity `Vp´ by the override factor `F´ (F = 0 - 1 corresponds to 0V -
10V):
