Equipment Bay
Frame

Introduction

Included in this section is the information to erect and mount the equipment bay
frames.

Frame Extender

If the addition of frame extenders is required by the customer, assemble these
before erecting and mounting the WaveStar OLS 40G equipment bays. Refer to
Section 9 of Lucent 065-215-250 Installation Guide for 500/800 Type Bay Frame
“Frame Extender Assembly” for mounting information.

Special Instructions

Do not remove any of the shelves or hardware parts from the equipment bay.
These parts are interconnected and require precise alignment.

Bay Mounting and Line Up Assembly Procedure

Follow the steps outlined below to mount and assemble the equipment bay into a
line up. Observe all moving cautions identified in the previous sections.
