Installation Manual

Power Cable Installation

Rack and Stack Configurations

Introduction

There are currently three configurations available as Rack and Stack
configurations. The power cabling for these configurations is different than
previously mentioned configurations.

Types of
Configurations

The three available Rack and Stack configurations are:

■

Two-Bay System: Bay 1 is an integrated bay containing one OLS shelf, one
OT system controller shelf, and one OT complimentary 1 shelf. Bay 2
contains one miscellaneously mounted OT system controller shelf, one OT
complimentary 1 shelf, a fuse panel, and an LGX.

■

Three-Bay System: Bay 1 is an integrated by identical to Bay 1 in the
Two-Bay System. Bay 2 contains one OT system controller shelf, one OT
complimentary 1 shelf, one OT complimentary 2 shelf, a fuse panel, and an
LGX. Shelf 3 contains one OT complimentary 2 shelf.

The Five-Bay System: Bays 1 and 5 are identical to Bay 1 in the Three-Bay
System. Bays 2 and 4 are identical to Bay 2 in the Three-Bay System. Bay
3 contains two OT complimentary 2 shelves.

Special
Considerations

Power is supplied via a 60 AMP feed to the fuse and alarm panel mounted in Bay
2 and Bay 4. The OLS and OT shelves are then powered individually from 10 AMP
fuses of this same panel.
