Perform the following steps to install the interconnecting cables (refer to
Figure 5-7).

Step Action
1 Remove the ED-7G028-20 G6 termination from P14 on the OLS
interconnection panel.
2 Route the J14 end of the ED-7G028-22 G801, 851, 853, or 855 cable
through the left side of the OLS shelf and attach to the P14 BUS OUT
connector. Refer to Figure 5-1 to locate the connector.
3 Route the P5/P6 ends of the same cable through the left side of the OT
System Controller shelf to the interconnection panel.
4 Remove the ED-7G045-20 G2 termination from the J6 CTRL IN
connector and attach P6.
5 Attach P5 to the J5 IAO LAN connector. Refer to Figure 5-3 to locate the
connectors.
6 Route the P27 end of the ED-7G028-22 G802, 852, or 854 cable through
the right side of the OLS shelf and attach to the J27 CTL OUT (B)
connector on the OLS interconnection panel. Refer to Figure 5-1 to locate
the connector.
