Fiber Protection If fiber duct is not installed, use the split polyethylene fiber protection tubing
supplied in the Installation Kit C848065959 to protect the fibers that run down
through the sides of the cabinet. Refer to Figure 6-2 and Figure 6-12.
Fiber Dressing All fiber jumpers (except OMU inputs and ODU outputs) should dress from their
circuit pack or unit connectors down through the notches immediately below the
connectors at the bottom edge of the shelf then horizontally along the shelf trough
to the appropriate side as shown in Figure 6-11 and Figure 6-12.
Fiber jumpers for OMU inputs and ODU outputs should dress up through the clips
located at the top of the units then horizontally out of the shelf as shown in
Figure 6-2 and Figure 6-12.
NOTE:
The fibers should be placed through the clips one at a time to avoid
overstressing the clips.
