Procedure Perform the following steps to install the Line Orderwire cable:

Step Action
1 Route the cable through the left side of the OLS shelf to the line orderwire
equipment. Refer to Figure 5-1 to locate the corresponding jacks
2 Connect the line orderwire cable to J1, J4, J7, J10 on the interconnection
panel.
3 Connect line orderwire cable to line orderwire equipment by cutting the
cable to length and wire-wrapping the loose ends onto the unit.
4 Label the connections that are wire-wrapped.
5 Dress and tie the cable.
