Power Cable Installation

Miscellaneously Mounted OT Shelves 
(Continued)

List 11, 12, and 13 
OT Cable 
Installation

The power cable connections at each shelf are to be installed prior to any 
intershelf wiring. The List 11, 12, and 13 shelves use the same A and B power 
cables which have a single power connector at each end. It is assumed that the 
shelves are being installed as single shelves. Each shelf will require a separate 
power cable.

To install the intershelf power cable for the A and B supplies, perform the 
following:

Action

1 

Locate the A supply power cable for List 11, 12, and 13. It is the same 
cable for all three list numbers: ED-9C103-22, GR7 (length = 15 ft.) or 
GR8 (length as specified). The supply end of the cable will have a RED 
jacket.

2 

Put the connector through the left access hole of the shelf to be wired. 
Align the plug with PWR A connector on interconnection panel checking 
that the locking clip is on the right side and the RED (–48V) wire is at the 
upper end of the connector. Push connector in until locking tab snaps in 
place.

3 

Route excess cable into bay frame channel on right side and tie to frame.

4 

Secure cable at entrance to top of frame.

5 

Locate the B supply power cable for List 11, 12, and 13. It is the same 
cable for all three list numbers: ED-9C103-22, GR8 (length = 15 ft.) or 
GR10 (length as specified). The supply end of the cable will have a BLUE 
jacket.

6 

Put the connector through the right access hole of the shelf to be wired. 
Align the plug with PWR B connector on interconnection panel checking 
that the locking clip is on the left side and the BLUE (–48V) wire is at the 
lower end of the connector. Push connector in until locking tab snaps in 
place.

7 

Route excess cable into bay frame channel on right side and tie to frame.
