Mounting Shelves 
to Bay Frame 
(continued)

For mounting an OT shelf in an ETSI 300mm Bay frame, follow the steps listed in 
the table:

For mounting an OLS shelf in an ETSI 300mm Bay frame, follow the steps 
outlined below: 

Step

Action

1 

Remove the shelf ground cable and side mounting brackets

2 

remove shielding plate from each side by removing the three screws 
holding the plate

3 

Hook mounting flange supplied with the installation kit (C848065959) 
through the side holed and mount to shelf side using the three screws 
that were used for the shielding plate

4 

Use the installed flange for mounting shelf to the front of the bay and to 
provide grounding to bay

5 

If the bay is not grounded, use the removed ground cable to ground bay 
frame

Step

Action

1 

Remove the shelf ground cable and side mounting brackets

2 

Use the front flange for mounting and grounding shelf to bay

3 

If bay is not grounded, use removed ground cable to ground bay frame
