Problem
When connecting your PC to the system, you are unable to successfully ping the IP address of your
PC to verify the IP configuration.
Possible Cause
The IP address was entered incorrectly.

Verify that the IP address used to ping the PC matches the IP address displayed when in the Windows

SUMMARY STEPS
1.
Open a DOS command window by selecting
Start > Run
from the Start menu.
2.
In the Open field, type
command
and then click
OK
. The DOS command window appears.
3.
At the prompt in the DOS window, type
ipconfig
and press the Enter key.
4.
At the prompt in the DOS window, type ping followed by the IP address shown in the Windows IP
configuration information previously displayed.
5.
Press the
Enter
key to execute the command.

Step 1
Open a DOS command window by selecting
Start > Run
from the Start menu.
