Step 1
In card view, click the

Step 2
Do the following to ensure that the maintenance association and the domain names are the same.
a) In card view, click the
Provisioning

CFM
>
Configuration
>
MA Profiles
tabs.
b) Enter or note down the maintenance profile name.
c) In card view, click the
Provisioning
>
CFM
>
Configuration
>
Domain Profiles
tabs.
d) Enter or note down the domain profile name.
e) Repeat steps a to d on the other end of the maintenance end point.
The maintenance profile name and the domain profile name must be the same on both the maintenance end points.
Step 3
Verify that the MA-Domain Mapping is correct. Click

Configuration
>

The SONET Section Layer DCC Termination Failure condition occurs when the NCS receives unrecognized
data in the section layer DCC bytes.
Invisible laser radiation could be emitted from the end of the unterminated fiber cable or connector.
Do not stare into the beam directly with optical instruments. Viewing the laser output with certain
optical instruments (for example, eye loupes, magnifiers, and microscopes) within a distance of 100 mm
could pose an eye hazard.
