MOTOR OVER-

Default setting: EMERG. STOP/FAULT
P832 programs the fault response that is triggered in the event of motor overload. Set
P340 Motor protection to ON ASYNCHRONOUS to activate the motor overload monitor.
P833 Response
RS485 TIMEOUT
Default setting: RAPID STOP/WARNG
P833 programs the fault response that is triggered by the RS485 timeout monitoring.
The response time of the monitoring function can be set with P812 RS485 timeout delay
.
P834 Response
LAG ERROR
Response lag error with IPOS

Factory setting: EMERG. STOP/FAULT
P834 programs the error response which is triggered by the lag error monitoring of the
positioning operation with IPOS

TF sensor signal
Factory setting: NO RESPONSE
P835 programs the fault response which is triggered by the temperature sensor moni-
toring of the TF or TH which may be incorporated in the motor winding.
P836 Response
SBus TIMEOUT
Factory setting: EMERG. STOP/FAULT
P836 programs the error response that is triggered by system bus timeout monitoring.
The response time of the monitoring function can be set with P883 Timeout delay SBus .
P838 Response
SW LIMIT
SWITCH
Factory setting: EMERG. STOP/FAULT
P838 programs the error response executed by the inverter if a target position for a ref-
erenced drive is outside the software limit switch. The software limit switches are set via
parameters P920 / P921 .
P84x Reset response
P840 Manual reset
Setting range: YES / NO

YES: The error in MOVIDRIVE
®
unit is reset. In case of an error, you can press the
<E> key on the DBG11B to access P840 directly. P840 is also available in the "Pa-
rameters" main menu in SHELL. P840 automatically reverts to NO after the reset.
Activating the manual reset does not have any effect if there is no error present.

P841 Auto reset
Setting range: ON / OFF

ON: The auto reset function is activated. In case of an error, this function performs
an automatic unit reset following P842 Restart time . A maximum of five auto resets
are possible during an auto reset phase. If five errors occur that are reset by an auto-
reset, no more auto-resets are possible until:
– a manual reset is performed using the input terminal,
– a manual reset is performed using the serial interface (SHELL, DBG11B, higher-
level controller),
– there is a transition to 24V support operation or the inverter is completely turned
off
