Components for EMC compliant installation

MOVIDRIVE

®

drive inverters and regenerative power supply units are designed for use

as components for installation in machinery and systems. They comply with the EMC
product standard EN 61800-3 "Variable-speed electrical drives." Provided the informa-
tion relating to EMC-compliant installation is observed, the devices satisfy the appropri-
ate requirements for CE-marking of the entire machine/system in which they are fitted,
on the basis of the EMC Directive 89/336/EEC.

MOVIDRIVE

®

compact

MC_4_A drive inverters size 1 and 2 are fitted with a line filter

as standard. These units comply with class A limit to EN 55011 and EN 55014 on the
line side without further measures.

Interference
immunity

With regard to interference immunity, MOVIDRIVE

®

meets all the requirements stipu-

lated in EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61800-3.

Interference
emission

Higher levels of interference are permitted in industrial environments. In industrial envi-
ronments, it may be possible to dispense with the measures listed below depending on
the situation of the supply system (mains) and the system configuration.

Limit value class A

Three options are available for EMC-compliant installation in accordance with
EN 55011, class A limit, depending on the machine configuration:
