Due to the great difference between the rated inverter and rated motor currents, this
combination cannot be started without additional measures:
•
Perform project planning for connecting the motor in a delta connection. This increas-
es the motor current by a factor of
√
3 and lowers the unfavorable ratio.
•
If this measure does not suffice, start up the motor in VFC & GROUP operating
mode. In this operating mode, the inverter operates without slip compensation and
simulates a constant-voltage/ constant-frequency system (system with a constant V/f
ratio).
