Connection of motor encoder and external encoder
Installation
Incremental
encoder simula-
tion
You can also use X14 as the output for incremental encoder simulation. To do so, you
have to jumper the "switchover" (X14:4 for MCV/MCS4_A, X14:7 for MCH4_A) with
DGND (X14:5 for MCV/MCS4_A, X14:8 for MCH4_A). X14 then supplies incremental
encoder signals with a signal level in accordance with RS422. The number of pulses is:
•
For MCV4_A as at X15 motor encoder input
•
For MCS4_A 1024 pulses/revolution
•
For MCH4_A with Hiperface encoder 1024 pulses/revolution
•
For MCH4_A with sin/cos encoder or TTL sensor as at X15 Motor encoder input
