IMPORTANT:
Be sure to specify [N+N redundant mode] to use the
N8405-023/023A PSU.
Specify "maintain redundancy" or "recover redundancy" mode for
N8405-039/039A. Under this condition, "N+1 redundant mode" is
recommended.
Do not use the power supply units of the different type in the same
Blade Enclosure. If the different type of power supply units coexist
in a Blade Enclosure, either of the power supply units is assumed to
be invalid and will not DC ON.
To enable the built-in UPS management feature, specify [N+1
redundant mode] or [Non-redundant mode] (recommended).
NOTE:
"Redundant mode: unknown" is displayed in non-redundant
mode of the version earlier than ESMPRO/ServerManager Ver.5 or
later.
Power Control Policy
Indicates the control policy on the maximum power consumption management in the
power management provided by the EM card.
The power control policy is classified into three modes, or "CPU performance", "maintain
redundancy" and "recover redundancy" modes.
The default setting is the "CPU performance" mode.
IMPORTANT:
Specify "maintain redundancy" or "recover redundancy" mode for
N8405-039/039A. Under this condition, "N+1 redundant mode" is
recommended.
To enable the built-in UPS management feature, specify "CPU
performance" mode for the power control policy.
