A message "Expansion ROM Not Initialized" appears at the end of POST:
Enabling or disabling Option ROM in manual mode may cause POST error. When
this error message appears, updating boot parameters and/or vIO information by
BIOS may have failed, even if the result status on [Select Boot Configuration]
page is [Success].
Power off the blade server, then perform the following steps.
1. Disable the Option ROM of the device not required for bootup, or execute
[Load Setup Default] of BIOS SETUP.
2. Power off the blade server.
3. Apply [default] of boot config.
4. Setup the boot config file again.
The slot containing a built-in UPS is recognized as it contains the failed power unit:
The built-in UPS may have been recognized incorrectly. Remove the relevant UPS
unit once, then insert it again. If the same error persists, the built-in UPS unit or
midplane may be faulty.
