PXE Boot
Provide settings for PXE boot on this screen.
If you select [Enable] for [PXE Boot] on [Basic Configuration], the screen as shown below appears.
If [Disable] is selected, this screen does not appear.
Boot Device:
Select a device to be used for PXE boot.
NOTES:
Ports selected for PXE boot and devices corresponding to that port
cannot be used for other than PXE boot. However, only the onboard
LAN port can be used together with iSCSI boot unless the location
of ports do not overlap with each other.
When PXE boot and iSCSI boot are set for each port of onboard
LAN of B120d-h, B120d, B110d, B120e, B120e-h, B120f, B120f-h,
or B120g-h (for B120f, B120f-h, and B120g-h, only when Legacy
boot mode is specified), the boot priority is defined according to the
setting of Network Device BBS Priorities in the BIOS SETUP
utility. By default, port 1 takes priority over other ports.
The onboard LAN of I/O Blade and the mezzanine card installed on
I/O Blade cannot be selected for PXE boot.
With the Boot Control feature of the EM card, you cannot specify
ports 3 and 4 of mezzanine card 1 as a boot device, even if
N8403-049(F), N8403-051(F), N8403-099(F), or N8403-100(F) is
installed in mezzanine card slot 1.
Note that the connection between Switch Modules and the ports on
N8403-049(F), N8403-051(F), N8403-099(F), or N8403-100(F)
differs when another option card is used.
Refer to the System Configuration Guide for more information on
connection between the Switch Modules and option card ports.
