EM Card (Enclosure Manager Card)
EM cards are listed as shown in the figure below.
The installed location, STATUS LED condition, Active LED condition, ID LED condition,
installation status, and floating IP address of EM card are displayed from left to right. Next to these
items, buttons to link with Web console of another EM (not being connected), command line
console of each EM card, and to switch to detailed indication are placed.
When you click the [HTTP] or [HTTPS] button, the Web page of the selected EM card opens in
separate window.
When you click the [telnet] link, the command line console for the selected EM card opens in
separate window.
NOTE:
The telnet link feature may be disabled depending on the OS
of management console or configuration of Web browser. With Internet
Explorer Ver. 6 of Windows XP and Mozilla FireFox 2.0, it is
confirmed that the telnet feature is available by the default setting.
When you click the [Detail] button, the detailed information on the selected EM card is displayed.
The detailed information on the EM card will be described later in this chapter.
