Boot parameters applied to Mezzanine Card with Boot Config remain valid after applying
default Boot Config or changing hardware configuration:
Boot parameters applied to Mezzanine Card with Boot Config are stored on
Mezzanine Card. EM Card does not make changes to the boot parameters stored
on the Mezzanine Card in cases listed below, so depending on the BIOS and
Option ROM setup, those boot parameters may remain valid.
– Applying default Boot Config
– Applying Boot Config with vIO setting only
– Changing hardware configuration (exchanging Mezzanine Card)
In such a case, change the BIOS and Option ROM settings appropriately.
Please contact the sales person for detailed information.
Error message below is displayed during POST after applying default Boot Config:
[iBoot-10]: iSCSI offload is disabled on this interface.
Please enable iSCSI offload personality on the first function
of this interface in the NPAR/AFEX menu.
Change the Option ROM setting as follows.
If you wish to continue using iSCSI boot that was setup by Boot Config, enable
iSCSI Offload Protocol on the first PF of the iSCSI boot port.
If you do not wish to continue using iSCSI boot that was setup by Boot Config,
change Boot Protocol to None on the port that was set to iSCSI boot by Boot
Config.
Please contact the sales person for detailed information.
