iSCSI Boot Device Selection
If you select [iSCSI] for [iSCSI/FC/HDD Boot] on [Basic Configuration], the screen as shown
below appears.
If any other item than [iSCSI] is selected, this screen does not appear.
NOTE:
Install a single iSCSI NIC mezzanine card for iSCSI boot.
If two or more iSCSI NIC mezzanine cards are installed, do NOT select
[iSCSI] for [iSCSI/FC/HDD Boot].
Primary Port
Select a primary port used for iSCSI boot.
NOTES:
Mezzanine card #3 and #4 can be selected only when the
double-wide CPU blade is used.
The onboard LAN of I/O Blade and mezzanine card installed on I/O
Blade cannot be used for iSCSI boot.
With the Boot Control feature of the EM card, you cannot specify
ports 3 and 4 of mezzanine card 1 as a boot device, even if
N8403-049(F) or N8403-051(F) is installed in mezzanine card slot
1.
Note that the connection between Switch Modules and the ports on
N8403-049(F) or N8403-051(F) differs when another option card is
used.
Refer to the System Configuration Guide for more information on
connection between the Switch Modules and option card ports.
