Rack 

Specify the information on the rack to install the Blade Enclosure. 

 

 

Rack Name 
Specify the name of the rack. 

NOTES:

   

 

Rack Name must be specified by single-byte characters including 
alphanumerics, period, hyphen, and underscore. Up to 32 characters 
are accepted. 

 

With the Blade Enclosure Inter Connect, the new rack name 
resulting from the change are distributed to the EM cards in all the 
Blade Enclosures connected. Accordingly, the EM cards share the 
rack name. 

 

If nothing is specified for "Rack Name", the value stored in the 
Blade Enclosure is read and used. 

 

Rack Height 

Specify the height of the rack in the unit of "U" where the Blade Enclosure containing the 
relevant EM card is installed. 

The specified value can be viewed later on the Web Console. (The control feature of EM 
card does not use the value specified here.)
