Boot Configuration No.
Select a destination to store the setting of boot config among 32 destinations shown in the
pull-down menu. If a destination is selected which is already specified, it will be
overwritten with the new configuration.
Boot Configuration Name
Specify or change the name of boot config file being edited.
Up to 64 characters among alphanumerics, hyphen, and underscore are allowed for Boot
Configuration Name.
The Boot Configuration Name must be unique.
Allow use from multiple blades
Specify whether to share the boot config file being edited through the several blades. The
default setting is [Disable]. Select [Disable] (not permitted) in usual case.
Power-on policy at Boot Control error
If "Stop" is selected, powering on the blade or OS boot is stopped when a boot control
error occurs.
Blade Size
Specify the blade size ("Half-height, Single-wide" or "Half-height, Double-wide")
appropriate to the boot config file being edited.
To use the I/O Blade, select [… +I/O Blade].
The default setting is "Half-height, Single-wide".
NOTE:
You must select [… + I/O Blade] to virtualize MAC address or
WWN on I/O Blade.
Blade Priority
You can specify the priority of power management of the CPU blade in the boot config
file. To include the priority setting, check to [Enable] checkbox, and specify the priority
with the numeric value. "0" is the highest priority, and "255" is the lowest. As a standard,
specify "60" for high priority and "190" for low priority. The default setting is "128".
NOTE:
If the same priority levels are assigned to the slots, the EM
card distributes electric power preferentially to the blade server (Model
name: B120b-Lw, B120d-h, B120d, B110d, B120e, B120e-h, B120f,
B120f-h, and B120g-h) which has larger effect on power-saving.
