Execute
Select the source backup file and click the [Execute] button to transfer the source backup file to the
EM card. The selected source file is applied to the EM card.
IMPORTANT:
Use the backup file which was created in "Backup
Configuration" described earlier.
NOTE:
If the configuration file (/var/nvdata/rw_poem.conf) has been
modified, apply it through the command line console. See Chapter 3 for
details.
Initialize Configuration
Use this menu to restore the factory default of EM card. If boot control feature is used, its
information is also returned to the default (EM does not perform boot control).
If the power linkage feature for NAS blade is used, its information is also returned to the default
(EM does not perform power linkage between blades).
When you click the [Initialize Configuration] tab on Configuration menu, the screen as shown
below appears.
IMPORTANT:
Executing the
apply
command reboots the EM card.
If two EM cards are installed, both cards are rebooted. While rebooting,
a bridge feature and SNMP feature are stopped. Accordingly, the
connection via management LAN of CPU blades and switch module is
temporarily disconnected. In addition, system monitoring by NEC
ESMPRO Manager is temporarily disabled. If a timeout error occurs,
connect them again after the active EM has rebooted.
