Configuration Applied to Switch
[Configuration Applied to Switch] field indicates whether the switch configuration
stored in EM card is applied to the switch module or not. If the switch configuration is
not yet applied, the cause is displayed here.

Upload Switch Configuration
Click the [Browse] button to select a configuration file you want to apply, then click
the [Upload: PC->EM->Switch] button. The selected switch configuration is stored in
EM card, and applied to the switch module currently installed.
IMPORTANT
:

"Upload Switch Configuration" is available only on the switch
module that supports restoration of switch configuration. If the
switch module does not support the function, the switch
configuration is stored in EM card, but not applied to the switch
module.
 [N8406-040(F)] 8G FC switch does not support this feature (Upload
Switch Configuration).

Download Switch Configuration
When you click the [Download: Switch>EM->PC] button, the switch configuration of
the installed switch module is stored in EM card. The dialog to specify the location to
store the configuration file will be displayed. When you determine the location and the
file name, the switch configuration file is stored.
NOTE:
"Download Switch Configuration" is available only on the
switch module that supports backup of switch configuration.
