Change CPU Blade Name
When you select [1: Change Blade Name] in [Blade Control Menu] and press the <Enter> key, or
press the <1> key, "Enter Blade Name" window as shown below appears.
The current CPU blade name is displayed in the window. Enter a new blade name using a keyboard
and press the <Enter> key to determine it. If the entered blade name contains any character
unavailable for the blade name or the field is null, an error is displayed. If you use the current blade
name as is, press the <Esc> key to go back to [Blade Control Menu].
NOTE:
Characters available for blade name are as shown below.
'A' to 'Z', 'a' to 'z', '0' to '9', and '- ' (hyphen)
Up to 32 characters are accepted.
The following keys are available for entry operation.
Key
Description
<Enter> key
Determines the entry.
<Esc> key
Aborts entry.
The entered characters are discarded and the current name will not be
changed.

> key
Moves the cursor.
<Insert> key
Switches between "Insert" and "Overwrite" mode.
Insert mode: The cursor is displayed in magenta.
Overwrite mode: The cursor is displayed in yellow.
<Delete> key
Deletes character at the cursor position.
<Back Space> key
Deletes one character before the cursor, and moves cursor.
NOTE:
If NEC ESMPRO Agent is used, do not use this feature to
change the blade name. NEC ESMPRO Agent specifies the host name
on the OS as the blade name.
