To configure the Logical Group Mapping, select the destination groups according to the description
below.
IMPORTANT:
To cancel the Logical Group Mapping, apply "Spare
Port Group", and then apply [default] of Boot Config.
GbE Intelligent Switch
If the Smart Panel mode is used in GbE Intelligent switch, a group can be assigned to "the
internal port of GbE Intelligent switch connected with the CPU blade".
Available groups are Group 1 to Group 5.
* This setting is equivalent to "Port Group Mapping" of Smart Panel feature.
For more information, refer to the "Smart Panel Reference Guide" of the switch.
IMPORTANT:
A group for the external port side of the GbE
Intelligent Switch must have been configured using the Web console of
the switch module.
FC Switch
If the Access Gateway mode is used in FC switch, a connection between "the internal port
(F_Port) of the FC switch connected with the CPU blade" and "the external port (N_Port)
of the FC switch" can be configured.
Available groups on FC switch (12Port) are Group 1 to Group 4. They correspond to
N_Port (ports 17 to 20) on the FC Switch.
* This setting is equivalent to "F-N Port Mapping" of Access Gateway feature.
For more information, refer to the "8G FC Switch Access Gateway Administrator's
Guide".
