Rebooting the CPU blade after pressing the [Apply] button on Boot Control menu fails to
reflect the configuration to the CPU blade:
Does BIOS of CPU blade or firmware of option card support this feature?
You may need to update the firmware to use this feature.
Refer to the NEC corporate site to get the detailed information for your CPU
blade.
Did you change, add, and/or remove option card?
If you changed, added, and/or removed option card, you must apply [default], and
perform the following steps before applying any boot configurations.
Otherwise, updating boot parameters and/or vIO information by BIOS may fail.
In such a case, perform [Restore Configuration], then perform the following steps
on BIOS SETUP menu.
1. Select [Load Setup Defaults] in Exit menu.
2. Select [Reset Configuration Data] in Advanced menu, and specify [Yes].
3. Press the F10 key to perform [Save and Exit].
Then, apply desired boot configuration again.
Unable to shutdown the OS by UPS Management feature or Power Linkage with NAS Blade

the Power button.
Take the following steps to allow your OS to shutdown with the Power button.
