Backup of EM Configuration File
Creates a backup file of EM configuration file in the USB memory connected to the USB port of the
Blade Enclosure.
IMPORTANT:
If you intend to restore the EM configuration file which was backed
up with vIO Control enabled to any other Blade Enclosure, or
relocate the EM card from the Blade Enclosure that are using vIO
Control to any other Blade Enclosure, vIO information may conflict.
To avoid conflict, perform either of the following:
– First make a backup copy of EM configuration file, cancel the
vIO Control of backup source, then restore the EM configuration
file.
– Stop running the restore destination, restore the EM
configuration file, then setup the vIO Control so that settings do
not conflict with those of backup source.
After restoration, be sure to view the Boot Control screen on Web
console. If any blade servers are indicated as "Please (re)boot",
reboot the relevant servers.
Selecting [6: Backup CONFIG] on [EM CONFIG] menu starts backup process.
