Rack Power Limit 

Specify the upper limit of power consumption in rack maximum power consumption 
management. If you select "No Limit", "0" is specified for this item and no limit is 
imposed to power consumption. The default setting is "Unlimited" (0 watt). This item can 
be edited only when the Blade Enclosure Inter Connect feature is enabled. The setting of 
this item is distributed to EM cards on every Blade Enclosure being connected. Therefore, 
you need to connect LAN cables and enable the Blade Enclosure Inter Connect feature on 
all the Blade Enclosures before setting this item. 

NOTES:

   

 

Maximum power consumption management is not available when 
using automatic CPU blade boot after UPS power recovery. 

 

If "Rack Power Limit" is assigned, power is distributed to each 
Blade Enclosure in the rack based on the limit value. Initially, the 
amount of power for each enclosure is the same. The rate then 
changes depending on the operating status of each enclosure. 

 

Blade Enclosure Inter Connect Timeout 

In rack maximum power consumption management, specify the wait time for response 
from the Blade Enclosures being linked. The default setting is "300" seconds. Use this 
value in usual operation.
