Outline
Sets or displays power control mode of CPU blade.
Syntax
srvpwrmode [<options>]
Parameter
<options>
-v
Explanation: Displays the current power control mode.
-u
Explanation: Displays the current status how the power control mode of CPU blade is
supported.
-d
Explanation: Sets Dynamic mode.
-s
Explanation: Sets Static mode.
Details
Sets power control mode for CPU blade according to CPU load, or displays it.
Dynamic mode: The CPU blade dynamically controls electric power according to CPU
load.
Static mode:
The CPU blade operates at maximum electric power regardless of CPU
load.
Notes
–
If the power control mode is set, the mode is immediately reflected to the installed
CPU blade.

If a new CPU blade is installed, the control mode specified by this command is set to
CPU blade.

If no parameter is specified, or an incorrect parameter is specified, syntax is displayed.

This command can be executed in the active EM card only. If executed in the standby
EM card, an error message is displayed.
–
In Dynamic mode, the EM card distributes electric power preferentially to one of the
blade servers which have same priority levels of power control.
In Static mode, the EM card does not distribute electric power preferentially to any one
of the blade servers which have same priority levels of power control.
