NOTE:
The collected EM log file is stored in the top directory (folder)
of USB memory with the file name
"collectem-XXX_XXX_XXX_XXX-YYMMDD-HHMMSS.tgz".
XXX_XXX_XXX_XXX: IP address of EM (active EM) to collect log
YYMMDD-HHMMSS: Created date of log file
Collection using Command Line Console
1.
Login to Command Line Console with the user account "admin".
2.
Run the "/sbin/collect" command.
3.
Make sure that the file "/logcollect/collect.tgz" has been created.
Logout from the Command Line Console.
4.
Login through ftp and download "/logcollect/collect.tgz" file.
The user account is "admin".
Collection using NEC ESMPRO Manager
1.
Start NEC ESMPRO Manager.
2.
Right-click on the EM card tree, and select [Collect EM card log] from the pull-down
menu.
3.
On the [Browse] dialog box, specify the folder to save log file.
The DOS prompt appears and EM log collection command starts automatically. Wait until
the process completes.
4.
Make sure that the log file has been created in the specified folder.
