NOTES:
Check that the "base address" is set so that its subnet mask is the
same as that of the EM card. The subnet mask must be the same as
that of the EM card.
Check that the last digit of IP address of switch module 6 or UPS4 is
254 or smaller.
If EM card does not manage the UPS or manages UPS with its static
IP address, the "base a 13" of switch module 6 is the last
address to be distributed through the DHCP server.
If IP address of UPS is also distributed, the "base a 17" of
the UPS becomes the last address. Specify the DHCP base address
so that the last address does not exceed 254.
Blade Slot n IP Address
When "Disable" is specified for easy setup, specify the IP addresses for every CPU blade
slot. Specify "0.0.0.0" for the slot to be disabled.
Switch Module Slot n IP Address
When "Disable" is specified for easy setup, specify the IP addresses for every switch
module slot. Specify "0.0.0.0" for the slot to be disabled.
UPSn IP Address
When "Disable" is specified for easy setup, specify the IP addresses for every UPS (1 to
4). Specify "0.0.0.0" for the UPS to be disabled.
IMPORTANT:
When "Disable" is specified for easy setup, IP addresses for
management I/F of CPU blade and switch module, to be obtained
through DHCP server, must be assigned for every slot.
The IP addresses assigned here are used by the DHCP server of EM
card to assign to the device in the specified slot (CPU blade, switch
module, or UPS). Therefore, configure these devices so that they
obtain an IP address through the DHCP server. If no request is
issued from the device, the EM card cannot assign the IP address to
these devices.
