Outline

Connect the EM card with the serial interface for configuration of switch module.

Syntax

connectswitch [<options>] <switch-number>

Parameter

-b [9600|115200]

Explanation: Specify baud rate. The default is "9600".

-f [none|x|hard]

Explanation: Specify the flow control. The default is "none".

none: No flow control

x: Xon/Xoff software flow control

hard: RTS/CTS hardware flow control

<switch-number>

Slot number of switch module to be connected

Details

Connect the EM card with the serial interface for configuration of switch module.

To disconnect, type the following character after pressing "Ctrl+M" (or Enter).

"~." (tilde and period)

This command can be executed in the active EM card only.

Notes

For more information about the serial interface for configuration of switch module, refer
to the User's Guide of the switch module, too.
