Power Linkage with NAS Blade
NOTE
:
NAS Blade is shipped only in Japan.
Powering on/off of desired NAS blade can be interlocked with the CPU blade. Using the Blade
Enclosure Inter Connect, linkage feature can be used between the several Blade Enclosures.
On the NAS Blade Select pane, select the NAS blade and click the [Add] button. The pane
for configuring the power linkage for the selected NAS blade is created.
This pane is called "Power Linkage Group".
To remove the Power Linkage Group, click the [Remove] button on the upper right of the
pane.
Add the CPU blade you want to link the power with the NAS blade, to the Power Linkage
Group.
On the CPU Blade Select field, select a CPU blade you want to add to a group, then click
the [Add] button.
To remove the CPU blade from the configuration, click the [Remove] button right to the
CPU Blade Select field.
There are three options for power linkage.
Put a checkmark on checkbox as needed.

Power on NAS blade before CPU blade is powered on

Power off NAS blade after CPU blade is powered off
–
Power off CPU blade before NAS blade is powered off due to lost of AC input.
You can specify the wait time before powering on CPU Blade after NAS Blade is powered
on when NAS Blade is set to power on before powering on CPU blade.
Enter the desired time in "Power on/off wait (sec)" field.
