Log Management
When you click the [Log] tab on menu bar, the window to collect EM card log appears.
Collect EM Card Log
Collects logs of EM card.
NOTE:
The logs collected in this page are same as those obtained by
executing the "collect" command on command line console.
When [Get IPMI log (BMC SEL) from all blades and log from all UPS units] check box is checked,
IPMI log (SEL information) is read from all the CPU blades and log is read from all the UPS units
in the enclosure. IPMI log and UPS unit log is stored together with the EM card logs in the specified
log file.
When you click the [Execute] button, the dialog to specify the directory to store the log file appears.
Specify the directory to store the log file and its filename. When location and filenames are
determined, log collection process starts.
NOTE:
If the [Get IPMI log (BMC SEL) from all blades and log from
all UPS units] check box is checked and IPMI log and UPS unit log is
collected together with the EM card log, it may take approximately 10
minutes.
View EM Card Log
EM Card log will be displayed if View EM Card Log tab is clicked. This is for maintenance
personnel.
