Indication of EM Card Error
When the EM card fails to control the SIGMABLADE monitor, the LCD indication changes as
shown below. In this case, only the KVM/DVD selection feature and OSD Setup Menu operations
are available. To display the system status and operate the main menu are disabled.
EM Not Ready
KVM: 1 DVD: 1
Slot number of the CPU blade connecting to the DVD (USB)
Slot number of the CPU blade connecting to the KVM
LEDs on the SIGMABLADE monitor are indicated as follows.
Power LED: Lit green
Status LED: Lit red
ID LED: Toggles on/off by pressing the ID switch.
Switchover between KVM and DVD
When you press the [Enter] button, the cursor appears on "KVM:" or "DVM:" field to allow
selection.
Press [
] or [
] button to increase or decrease the number at the cursor position in the range
between 1 and 8, or E (EM). When the number is changed, the selected number and the cursor start
blinking. Pressing the [Enter] button starts to switchover the selected KVM or DVD. The selected
number blinks for a while, and then stop blinking when switchover is completed.
Press [
] or [
] button to move cursor horizontally to switch selection between KVM and DVD.
If you press the [
] or [
] button while changing the number, the selection returns to the previous
number. If no button is pressed for about 30 seconds or longer, the selection is canceled without
executing switchover.
IMPORTANT:
Switching over is available while the EM card is in
fault status. However, connection of KVM or DVD may be disabled by
protection feature. If the selected EM card does not operate normally,
recover the EM card before connection.
NOTE:
In [DVD] field, do not select "E" in [DVD] field while the EM
card is being failed.
