Built-in UPS Manager
Use this page to provide settings required when the EM card manages built-in UPSs.
Built-in UPS unit support
Specify whether to use the built-in UPS unit.
To enable this item, power redundancy mode must be set to “Non-redundant mode”
(recommended) or "N+1 redundant mode", power control policy must be set to "CPU
Performance mode", and UPS management feature (for external UPS) must be set to
"Disable".
If this item is set to "Disable", the built-in UPS unit is unavailable even if it is installed.
When this item is enabled but no built-in UPS is installed, it is not a problem.
The items below are available only when this item is set to "Enable".
NOTES:
To use the built-in UPS unit, a power supply unit that supports UPS
unit (N8405-054, or N8405-055 or later excluding N8405-064S01)
is required.
To use the built-in UPS unit, a Blade Enclosure that supports UPS
unit (N8405-016B or later) is required.
To enable the built-in UPS management feature, the following
conditions must be satisfied:
– Power redundancy mode: Non-redundant mode (recommended)
or N+1 redundant
– Power control policy: CPU performance mode
– UPS management (for external UPS): Disable
