Shutdown blades at power lost
Specify whether to shutdown CPU blades when the power required for system operation
cannot be secured due to power failure.
The items below are available only when this item is set to "Enable".
NOTES:
To shutdown the CPU blade automatically, your OS must be able to
shutdown with the one-push of the Power button.
If the CPU blade is unable to be shutdown with the Power button,
this feature will not shutdown the system. See the topic "Unable to
shutdown the OS by UPS Management feature or Power Linkage
with NAS Blade feature" in the Troubleshooting Chapter.
Blade shutdown delay at power lost
When the power required for system operation cannot be secured due to power failure, the
shutdown of CPU blades starts after the time specified in this item (in second) has passed.
If the power failure is recovered within the time specified in this item, the shutdown of
CPU blades will not start.
Blade shutdown timeout at power lost
The built-in UPS stops output power when shutdown of all the CPU blades completes or
shutdown time specified in this item (unit: sec) has passed.
Boot blade after power recovery
Specify whether to boot CPU blades when the power failure is recovered and all the CPU
blades in shutdown state become ready.
The items below are available only when this item is set to "Enable".
Blade boot timeout after power recovery
If the time specified in this item has passed before the power-on of target CPU blades are
not completed, the CPU blades are considered to have been powered on.
If a power failure occurs during powering on the CPU blades, the EM card waits for the
completion of power-on, then executes blade shutdown.
