Introduction

Marking and drilling the floor for the erection of Lucent Cabinets is covered in this 
section. 

NOTE:

For instructions regarding installation of bay frames, proceed to Equipment 
Bay Frame Installation: page 3-7.

Customer Provided Information

The customer must provide a floor layout or job floor plan showing the positions of 
the WaveStar OLS 40G cabinets. This information will be used to mark the floor 
for drilling.

For raised floor installations, mark and drill mounting holes per the customer’s 
instructions. Additional cutout areas may be designated to allow for power and 
network connections to be routed below the raised floor.

Special Considerations

It is recommended that a 1/8” clearance between adjacent cabinets be provided.
