NOTE:
When using the above fiber connection tables, remember to use the labels
provided in the rack and stack fiber kits, not the labels noted in the
particular fiber connection tables.
Outside Plant Fiber
When connecting the OAs or ODUs to outside plant fiber, the fibers must connect
to the LGX panel provided in Bay 2 or Bay 4. Refer to drawing NT00405-30 for
further details.
Outside plant fibers connecting to the OAs for Bay 1 (in a Two-Bay, Three-Bay, or
Five-Bay configuration) will connect to the LGX panel in Bay 2. Outside plant
fibers connecting to OAs in Bay 5 for a Five-Bay configuration will connect to the
LGX panel in Bay 4. For two-OA systems, where two optical amplifiers are used in
Line 1 or Line 2 of Bay 1, the outside plant fibers will be routed to the left of the
bay for Line 1, and to the right for Line 2. For a Five-Bay configuration, the outside
plant fibers connecting to a two OA system in Bay 5 will dress to the right of the
bay, for both Line 1 and Line 2. In a single OA application, the outside plant fibers
connecting to the ODUs will dress to the right in Bay 1, and to the left in Bay 5, for
both Lines 1 and 2.
