Cautions and Notes
NOTE:
The following procedure assumes lines 1 and 2 are both equipped. Ignore
the procedures for unequipped lines.

DANGER:
Disabling the Automatic Power Shut-Down (APSD) feature results in a FDA/
IEC ClassIIIb/3B laser hazard. APSD is a safety feature. Do not attempt to
defeat or disable APSD. Defeating APSD may result in harm to personnel
exposed to disconnected or cut optical fibers.

CAUTION:
To comply with IEC regulations, systems containing an IEC Class 3B laser
hazard must be installed in a controlled environment. Please refer to
applicable IEC standards.
NOTE:
At any time throughout test procedure, remove attenuated test cable if
measured power is within the range of the optical power meter.
NOTE:
For Single OA applications (no receive OA), you will need a LC-to-LC
adapter and a short LC-to-ST or LC-to-FC to connect to the power meter.
NOTE:
For Single OA applications there will be no LBO used on the ODU input.
Connect the LC jumper to the ODU and proceed to Step 6.
