Low Speed Fiber Connections: 2-Bay Configurations
The low speed fiber connections from the LGX panel in Bay 2 to/from the OTUs,
and from the OTUs to/from the OMU and ODU required the fiber jumpers listed in
the fiber kits in the subsection, Two-Bay Rack and Stack Fiber Kits: page 6-102.
These fiber jumpers are routed differently than described in the section, Optical
Translator Fiber Installation, so use the guidelines below for routing these jumpers
for each shelf.

Bay 1, OT System Controller Shelf (middle shelf): all fibers route out the left
side of the shelf
■
Bay 1, OT Complimentary Shelf 1 (top shelf): fibers for slots 9-16 route to
the left, fibers for slots 17-20 route to the right
■
Bay 2, OT System Controller Shelf (bottom shelf): all fibers route to the left
■
Bay 2, OT Complimentary Shelf 1 (upper shelf): all fibers, for slots 9-20
route to the left
NOTE:
Refer to Tables 1 and 2 in drawing NT00405-30 for further information on
low speed fiber jumper kits and routing schemes.

The low speed fiber connections from the LGX panel in Bay 2 to/from the OTUs,
and from the OTUs to/from the OMU and ODU required the fiber jumpers listed in
the fiber kits in the subsection, Three-Bay and Five-Bay Rack and Stack Fiber
Kits: page 6-106. These fiber jumpers are routed differently than described in the
section, Optical Translator Fiber Installation, so use the guidelines below for
routing these jumpers for each shelf.

Bay 1, OT System Controller Shelf (middle shelf): all fibers route out the left
side of the shelf

Bay 1, OT Complimentary Shelf 1 (top shelf): fibers for slots 9-16 route to
the left, fibers for slots 17-20 route to the right
