Average Burst
Power
The table
Average Burst Power
defines a tolerance band for the average burst
power. Matching of the tolerances is checked for each burst measured.
The limit values are defined relative to the nominal output power corresponding to
the mobile's power control level (see
Table 4-8
). An upper and lower limit can be
defined for up to 10 arbitrary, continuous ranges of PCLs. In contrast to the
modulation measurement, these power limits may also be asymmetrical (i.e. not of
the same magnitude). The table contains the following columns:

Lower level limit relative to nominal output power

Upper level limit relative to nominal output power
Enable
Enable (box checked) or disable the limit check in the current

If the initial PCL coincides with the final PCL, the range consists of one power
control level only. Unused ranges are marked by the entries
Off

MAX
refers to the maximum PCL of the mobile phone according to its power class.
