Vertical offset = 0.00 m
The vertical height reading is the height difference between the pillar bench-
mark and the Antenna Reference Plane of the antenna. Normally, it is deter-
mined indirectly by levelling.
Sometimes, it is difficult to measure to the MRP directly.
1.
Determine the height difference between the pillar benchmark and a
surface on the carrier.
2.
Look up the height difference between this surface on the carrier
and where the MRP of the antenna sits on the carrier.
3.
Add the values determined in step 1. and 2., to get the
vertical
height reading
.
4.
For Leica standard antennas plus accessories, the
vertical offset
is
0.00 m.
