Check box
When this box is not checked, elements such
as straights, curves and parabolas define the
vertical alignment.
When this box is checked, the vertical align-
ment is defined by

section. PVIs are tangent or geometrical
points.
•
Vertical alignments with symmetrical
curves are defined by the PVI chainage,
the elevation of PVI and the total length
of curve, where the tangent length is
half the total length of the VC.
•
Vertical Alignments with non-symmetrical
curves are defined by the PVI chainage,
the elevation of the PVI and both tan-
gent lengths.
