Default status: disable the flow control

mdix

This command is used to configure the mode of the port sending signals.

Command

Description

normal

Line 1 and 2 are used to send signals; line 3 and 6 are used to receive
signals

cross

Line 1 and 2 are used to receive signals; line 3 and 6 are used to send
signals

auto

Select automatically between normal and cross

Default status: auto mode

Whether a port can be UP is related with the mdix setting of the two parties. If both are

normal mode or cross mode, use the crossover network cable. If the mdix mode of one party

is set as normal and the other is cross, use the common network cables. When auto mode is

configured, use common network cable or crossover network cable.

The rules are as follows:
