Syntax 

Description 

list-name 

To define the default method list 

method 

Authentication method 
None: Pass directly without authenticating the identity 
Local: Use the local user database to authenticate the identity. 
Line: Use the line password to authenticate the identity. 
Radius: Use RADIUS to authenticate the identity. 
Tacacs: Use TACACS to authenticate the identity. 
WORD:  Use  TACACS  or  RADIUS  server  group  to  authenticate  the 
identity. WORD is the name of the server group.

】

Global configuration mode 

This method needs to cooperate with the command ppp authentication to 
apply the method list to the PPP authentication of an interface. 

 

aaa authentication xauth 

This  command  is  used  to  configure  the  method  list  of  the  extended 
(XAUTH)  authentication.  The  no  form  of  the  command  is  used  to  delete 
the method list.
