OSPF Monitoring and Debugging
M o n i t o r i n g C o m m a n d s
The OSPF monitoring commands can display the specified statistics
information, status information, and configuration parameters, such as
OSPF route table, link status database, interface information, and
neighbor information. You can use the information to view the OSPF
status information and network topology information to analyze and
solve the problems.
There are the following monitoring commands:
Command Description
show ip ospf

]
Display the basic information of the OSPF protocol, such
as interface quantity, neighbor quantity, and LSA quantity.
show ip ospf all
Display all information of the OSPF protocol, including
interface, neighbor, database, and route.
show ip ospf core-info
Display the key information of the OSPF protocol,
including interface, neighbor, Router-LSA, and Network-
LSA.
show ip ospf

border-routers
Display the route table information of the edge routers
and AS edge routers.
show ip ospf

buffers
Display the buffer information of OSPF, such as buf length
of the received and sent packets.

Display OSPF link status database information. You can
specify the link status type via the Router-ID of router and

Opaque-Link-LSA, Opaque-Area-LSA, and Opaque-AS-LSA.
If

is added, only the abstract information of
one type of LSA is displayed.
