Example: 
Apply  the  IP  extended  access  list  1001  at  the  input  direction  of  port 
0/5 and IP standard access list 10 at the input direction of VLAN 2. 
 

Command 

Description 

router(config)# port 0/5 

To apply the extended access list 1001 at 
the input direction of port 0/5. The access 
list takes effect on all IP packets entering 
the port. 

router(config-port-0/5)#  ip  access-group 
1001 in 

router(config-port-0/5)# exit 

router(config)# vlan 2 

To apply IP standard access list 10 at the 
input direction of VLAN 2. The access list 
takes effect on all IP packets entering the 
VLAN.

This command is to apply a MAC access list at the input direction of the

Syntax 

Description 

mac access-group 

To  bind  a  AMC  access  list  on  the  Ethernet 
interface 

access-list-number 

The  serial  number  of  a  MAC  access  list.  The 
value range is 2001-4000. 

access-list-name 

The name of a MAC access list

The input direction 

[Configuration mode] Port configuration mode 
[Default status] By default, the port object is not bound with any ACL. 
 
The  no  format  of  the  command  is  used  to  cancel  the  application  of  a 
MAC access list on the port object.
